I really enjoyed every moment I spent in Asher College both the staff and the students are awesome. Asher College is a place where you feel at home, feel welcomed and relaxed to learn.

I took the pharmacy technician course, I did get my license. I just wanna thank my instructors for staying on me and making sure that I got everything done and making sure that I was comfortable.

The entire staff is friendly and everyone wants you to succeed all the time. They celebrate every success and they provide encouragement through each moment of your life that you share with them.

I am so glad I decided to go to Asher College. The staff, teachers and fellow students are so amazing. Everyone has such a positive attitude and support and cheer each other on! Young and young at heart, if you are interested or just thinking about going to college, check out Asher!!

I graduated from Asher College with an associate’s degree in computer information. I’m very excited to use this degree and pursue my career in the information technology field. I work for the state right now and I hope to use that to promote. I’m already on the path right now, so I’m excited and I thank Asher College for the opportunity.

I’m a veteran of 22 and a half years in the Air Force and the Army, 55 years of age I decided I wanted to go back to school again, so I went ahead and got certified CompTIA Met plus security, plus CCNA, Cisco. [If] you’re frustrated ’cause you can’t seem to make your way around the IT certification paths Asher is the way to go.

I couldn’t have done it without Asher. The instructors are brilliant. They have no problems answering any questions… I can’t convey how grateful I am for Asher College coming into my life.

I wanna give a huge shout out and thank you to my teachers. They never gave up on me. It was a point of time when I was down. I was going through a difficult time, and they continue to constantly check on me. Michael, Theresa, and Karen. They were simply amazing. It felt like a family and not a school. I wanna give a huge shout out to my family, my best friend, my boyfriend, and to my grandma who’s in heaven watching me right now, and I did it for her.

I absolutely love the environment. The staff is absolutely amazing and would stop what ever they are doing and help you. My absolute favorite thing I love about Asher College is the Career Success Class I take twice a week. I absolutely love this class it opens up your mind.

 I went to Asher College for the office accounting program. It’s a great program, especially for working families. I worked full-time and was able to go to Asher. They work really well with your schedule, it was a great atmosphere, always positive. They have a great support staff there. The teachers are great.

I’ve always been passionate of IT. I was looking online at different ways to learn, teaching myself and going to the library, just trying to learn the ins and outs. I finally found a program where they’re able to teach me and provide me the certificates that I was looking to get. I graduated Asher College with a computer operations security specialist degree and got my Security+ certificate. I’m excited to move on to my future.

I’ve always been in the medical field, but I always have to refresh. This is like a refresher course for me; I have my AS in medical billing already. I heard about Asher College through the Department of Rehab and I’m graduating from the medical records specialist program. My favorite part of the program is being able to do your own hours and work around your schedule. I’m looking forward to working in health information management.

I am an Air Force veteran. After serving active duty for over 9 years, I was going through the TAPS program and somebody from base recommended the school. The program I did was an associate’s degree in computer operations and security, and I was able to receive a certificate for CompTIA A+. I’ve always wanted to get in the medical field, but I’m not a nurse. I decided I wanted to go back to school and found Asher online. I learned a lot, and I get emotional doing this because I’m the first person in my family to graduate college. To somebody who thinks it’s too late for them to come back to school: it’s never too late. You can do it. If I can do it, you can do it.

I was just working a retail job and I came to the conclusion that this probably wasn’t going to be for me. I was ready to make the change. What I like most about the program is it was really based on me and my timing, fitting it into my schedule. Life is definitely busy, especially when you are married and you have two kids, and it worked out perfectly for us. I earned two certifications while I was here—CompTIA A+ and CompTIA Network+—and I’m still working on that Security+ right now.

I’ve been in the security field for about 13 years, so this was just basically a whole new brand new experience for me. After completing my four years in the Marine Corps, I always thought I’ll be in like a security type field, always being the muscle man of the group. But right now I feel like I can make more of a difference. With this new field and how I’m coming into it, it’s like being a brand new baby living life again.

I like medical coding and billing mainly for the coding part because it’s like a puzzle; you have to figure out where it fits. I thought that was really fun and challenging. Honestly, it was challenging—I think that’s what I liked about it the most. Be prepared to be challenged because it’s going to be a good thing. It’s going to make you better over time.

I was looking for my next step right after getting out of the military. My background in the Air Force was that I was a medic and so medical billing and coding was the administrative part of continuing on. It was really a great fit. My favorite part of the program was the independence that you get from the flexible schedule. I was able to come in on the days of the week that worked for me and at my own time.
